How much does an AI video cost per second?
In AI Media Studio, video costs between 12 and 99 credits per second, depending on the model, resolution and audio. That is $0.228 to $1.88 per second on the Starter plan and $0.119 to $0.985 on Ultra. The cheapest option is Grok Imagine Video 1.5 at 480p; the most expensive is Seedance 2.0 at 1080p.
How much does a 5-second AI video cost?
A 5-second clip on Kling O3 Pro, the studio's default video model, costs 85 credits with audio off: $1.61 on Starter or $0.846 on Ultra. The worked examples below give the 5-second price for every video model.
Which model is cheapest for images?
Muse Image is the cheapest image model in the web app at 2 credits per image ($0.038 on Starter, $0.020 on Ultra), for both new images and edits. GPT Image 2.5 at low quality also costs 2 credits, but the web app runs GPT Image 2.5 at high quality; low and medium are API options.
How much does an AI photo edit cost?
An edit costs 2 credits on Muse Image, 9 credits on Nano Banana 2.1 at 1K, 11 credits on GPT Image 2.5 at high quality and 30 credits on Nano Banana Pro at 1K or 2K. The most expensive single image is Nano Banana Pro at 4K, 60 credits ($1.14 on Starter).
How are the dollar prices calculated?
Dollar cost per generation = credits x (monthly plan price / monthly plan credits). Starter: $19 / 1,000 credits = $0.01900 per credit. Ultra: $199 / 20,000 credits = $0.00995 per credit. Prices are in USD, excluding tax.
Do unused credits expire?
No. Unused subscription credits roll over to the next month, and credit packs never expire.

Nano Banana 2.1 charges 1.5x at 2K and 3.375x at 4K, rounded up; Nano Banana Pro charges the same at 1K and 2K and 2x at 4K. GPT Image 2.5 has two variants (Flare and Sunburst, the app's Detail switch) at the same price; the web app uses high quality, and low and medium are available through the API.

Credit costs come from AI Media Studio's pricing configuration as of October 11, 2026. Dollar amounts are derived with one formula: credits x (monthly plan price / monthly plan credits). Starter is $19 for 1,000 credits a month and Ultra is $199 for 20,000. Pro ($49 for 4,000) and Premium ($99 for 10,000) follow the same formula. Yearly billing lowers the price per credit further. Prices can change when a model provider changes its rates; this page carries the date it was last verified.
