Download or Share with a Link
Download finished images and videos to use anywhere, or make an image public to get a link anyone can open. Public images can also appear in our public gallery.

Download Your Images and Videos
Download any result from your media library. Images usually save as PNG files and videos as MP4.
You download the file the model produced, at the size it was generated. For a larger image, choose 2K or 4K before generating with a Nano Banana model. These sizes are available on every paid plan and cost more credits than 1K. You can also run the upscaler on an image you already have.
Example: An Image for Print
A shop owner needs a large product image for a printed flyer. They generate it at 4K with Nano Banana Pro, download it from the media library and send the file to the print shop.
Step by Step: Download a File
- If you need a large image, pick 2K or 4K in the Composer before you generate.
- Open the image or video in your media library.
- Click Download.
- The file saves to your device, usually as PNG for images and MP4 for videos.

A Public Page for Each Shared Image
A public image gets its own page with a link preview, so it shows up properly when you paste the link into a chat or post.
The app does not post to social networks for you. Instead, every public image has a share page with the image, its prompt and its settings, plus a preview card for apps that show link previews. Visitors can view and download the image, but they cannot edit or delete it.
Example: Posting a New Piece
A creator finishes an image and wants to post it on Instagram. They download the file and upload it there, then add the share link to their bio so followers can see the prompt behind it.
What Visitors See on the Share Page
- The image itself, with a download button.
- The prompt, plus any reference images used to create it.
- Details such as aspect ratio, resolution and style.
- A link to create their own image with AI Media Studio.

Share a Link to an Image or Collection
Turn on Make Public for an image or a whole collection, then copy the link and send it to anyone. They do not need an account to open it.
Sharing is a single switch. While an image is private, only you and the members of your workspace can see it. Once you make it public, anyone with the link can view it, and it can appear in the public gallery on our website. Links have no password or expiry date, so only make public what you are happy for anyone to see, and switch it off to make it private again.
Example: Sending Options to a Client
A freelancer has several banner options for a client's website. Instead of attaching large files to an email, they put the options in a collection, make it public and send the link. The client opens it in the browser without signing up.
Step by Step: Share via Link
- Open the image or collection and choose Share.
- Turn on Make Public.
- Copy the link.
- Send it by email, chat or anywhere else.
- To stop sharing, turn Make Public off again.

Use Your Work in a Portfolio
There is no built-in portfolio page. Download your best images for your own site or portfolio platform, or share a public collection as a simple showcase.
A public collection works as a quick showcase you can link to. For a full portfolio, download the files and upload them to your website or to a platform such as Behance, Dribbble or ArtStation. These tips help either way.
Tips for a Strong AI Image Portfolio
- Curate selectively: Show only your best and most distinctive work.
- Show range: Include different subjects, styles and formats.
- Explain your process: Mention the prompt or edit behind a piece. A public share link already shows the prompt.
- Use the largest file you have: Generate at 2K or 4K, or upscale before you download.
- Group by theme: Use collections to sort work by client, style or subject.
