Higgsfield vs Krea vs Freepik (Magnific) for AI Video (2026)

Higgsfield, Krea and Magnific (the new name of Freepik's AI suite) all sell one subscription for many video models. They differ in how they price a clip, what 'unlimited' means and what else comes in the box. This page compares the three on what each vendor lists, side by side. Disclosure: AI Media Studio, which publishes this page, competes with all three; our own numbers are in a separate column so you can ignore them.

Which is cheapest for AI video: Higgsfield, Krea or Freepik?

  • Lowest listed cost per clip: Higgsfield and Magnific, roughly €0.36 to €0.39 for a 5-second 1080p Kling 3.0 clip on their mid plans. Krea does not list per-clip costs for Kling or Veo.
  • Most video effects, avatars and lip-sync: Higgsfield. Unlimited Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana 2 come in 7-day windows on Plus and Ultra.
  • Most creative tooling: Krea (real-time generation, LoRA training, nodes), with all video models from Pro ($35/month).
  • Stock library, audio and unlimited Kling 2.5: Magnific, from Premium+.
  • AI Media Studio (ours) is more expensive per clip than all three; it competes on photo editing plus video in one app and credits that roll over.

What one clip costs

Each vendor's listed credit cost, converted at the monthly price of one named plan: Higgsfield Plus (€59 for 1,200 credits), Magnific Premium+ (€36 for 45K credits), Krea Pro ($35 for 20,000 units). How to choose between the three

Pick by the work you repeat most:

  • Short social video with effects, avatars or lip-sync, and the lowest listed cost per clip: Higgsfield. Plan around the 7-day unlimited windows and the Starter plan's limited model list.
  • Experimenting across many models, training a LoRA on your own subject, real-time sketching or node workflows: Krea. Budget per model is harder because Krea lists plan-level counts rather than per-clip costs for Kling and Veo.
  • Video plus stock footage, music and voice in one subscription, or heavy Kling 2.5 and Nano Banana 2 use: Magnific Premium+.

How we compared

Every competitor number on this page was read from the vendor's public pricing page on October 11, 2026; the sources are linked below. Credits were converted to money at the monthly price of one named plan per vendor; yearly billing, bigger plans and unlimited windows lower the real cost for all of them. We did not test output quality for this page, and the same model name can run with different default settings on each platform.

Where AI Media Studio competes, and where it does not

We publish this page and sell a competing product, so here is the plain version. On listed rates, AI Media Studio is the most expensive of the four per video clip, and it has fewer video models, no effects or avatars, no audio generation and no 4K video (clips run up to 15 seconds at 1080p).

Where we compete: editing a photo by describing the change and then animating it in the same app, every model on the $19 Starter plan, and unused subscription credits that roll over. AI Media Studio plans: Starter $19, Pro $49, Premium $99, Ultra $199 per month (USD, tax excluded), or ten months' price billed yearly, with 1,000, 4,000, 10,000 or 20,000 credits per month. Unused subscription credits roll over.

Edit the photo, then animate it

AI Media Studio puts photo editing by text and image-to-video with Kling, Seedance and Grok Imagine in one web app. Plans from $19/month; unused credits roll over.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheapest for AI video: Higgsfield, Krea or Freepik?

On listed rates, Higgsfield and Magnific (formerly Freepik). A 5-second 1080p Kling 3.0 clip is about €0.39 on Higgsfield Plus and about €0.36 on Magnific Premium+. Krea Pro includes Kling and Veo but does not list a per-clip cost; its Seedance 2.0 count works out to about $0.42 per video.

Is Freepik AI the same as Magnific?

Yes. Freepik's AI suite now sells as Magnific, which describes itself as 'formerly Freepik'. The plans, models and stock library are on magnific.com/pricing.

Which has real unlimited video?

Magnific Premium+ and up list unlimited Kling 2.5. Higgsfield Plus and Ultra offer 7-day unlimited windows on Kling 3.0, only on higgsfield.ai, and say unlimited use may be slowed at peak times. Krea's unlimited relaxed generations cover its in-house image models, not third-party video.

Krea vs Higgsfield: which is better for photo-to-video?

Higgsfield if you want effects, avatars, lip-sync and low per-clip costs. Krea if you want to train a LoRA on your subject first or work in real time and with nodes. Both offer Kling and Seedance; Krea needs Pro for all video models, Higgsfield needs Plus.

Is there a free plan for AI video on any of them?

Krea lists a $0 plan with 100 units a day but no video concurrency on it; Higgsfield lists a limited plan without commercial use. AI Media Studio is a paid product: One free edit after sign-up: one uploaded photo, edited with Muse Image. Everything else needs a paid plan. Paid plans start at $19/month.
